What kind of place is La Grange au Rêve? La Grange au Rêve is a peaceful countryside retreat in the Dordogne. Our gîtes are surrounded by nature, animals and open space — a place to unwind, slow down and feel at home.

How many people can stay in the gîtes? We welcome a maximum of 6 guests in total: one gîte for 4 people and one gîte for 2 people. 

Is linen included? Yes. Bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 10:00 AM.

Do I need to show ID? Yes. A passport or ID card is required upon arrival, in accordance with French law.

Are pets allowed? No. Pets are not allowed. We have animals on our domain and wish to preserve peace, safety and hygiene.

Is smoking allowed? Smoking is allowed outdoors only and never inside the gîtes. 

Is La Grange au Rêve adults-only? Yes. We are an adults-only property (16+). 

How should we leave the gîte when we depart? Final cleaning is included, but we kindly ask that you: • do the dishes or run the dishwasher • collect and dispose of your waste • leave the gîte in a respectful condition

How does the pool work? Our pool is semi-private and shared with a maximum of one other gîte, never more than 6 guests in total. It is reserved for staying guests only, offering calm and relaxation.

Is the pool supervised? No, the pool is not supervised. Use is at your own risk. 

Is parking available? Yes. Free on-site parking is available.

Can we order breakfast or dinner? Yes. Breakfast can be ordered one day in advance. We also offer a daily changing dinner menu, announced ahead of time. Dinner can be served in your gîte or on your private terrace. 

Are drinks or tapas available? Yes. At certain hours, you can order drinks or tapas — also by the pool. 

Do you offer picnics or lunch packs? Yes, picnic and lunch packs are available on request. 

Can you accommodate dietary needs? Yes. We can offer vegetarian or gluten-free options on request.

What is included in the welcome package? Upon arrival, you will find a bottle of local wine and a small selection of local tapas — our way of saying welcome.

How do payments work? A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. 

What are your cancellation terms? • Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival • Between 60 and 30 days: deposit is due • Less than 30 days: full stay is due

Can we interact with the animals? Yes, with care and respect. Please do not feed animals without our permission. 

How far is Brantôme? Brantôme is nearby (10 min) and can be reached by car — or you may book our shuttle service, available on request.
